* Justice Impacted Youth What we have learned to be true over the last 40+ years is that the the Juvenile Justice Systems which mirror youth concentration camps and medieval dungeons, is the following. “Youth Crime + Youth Punishment ≠ Responsible Youth” How do we translate this equation into laymen terms; Youth Crime/Trauma that is treated with punitive measures will never produce responsible law abiding youth. It will only produce sophisticated gang related youth criminals. The Urban Apostles and our partners address the underlying causes for the compulsive/impulsive patterns of destructive and rebellious behavior.
* Gang Related Youth The Urban Apostles collective lived experiences gives us patience, tolerance and the empathy that is needed to meet the gang related youth where they are at. It allows us to be realistic in goal setting and building individual growth plans, while respecting the youth’s personal boundaries and current belief systems. Personal experience has taught us, that good, bad and although sometimes even ugly, these beliefs and ideas have been monumental in surviving early childhood traumas and incarceration. Our own personal journeys, are the collateral we offer to qualify and build lasting trust, that can then be employed to redirect and construct goal-oriented lives of significance and purpose.

* Youth Experimental /Recreational Substance Use We neither overreact nor do we over-compensate due to youth Experimental/Recreational Substance Use. Our comprehensive, compassion-focused service model, allows supports our youth as they move through recovery literacy and become "Recovery Literate." This makes the re-entry and social intervention process one of dignity with robust support. By prioritizing personal autonomy, respecting legal rights, and a holistic reintegration, our plan empowers youth, strengthens families and creates community bonds—laying the groundwork for sustained success and a lasting sobriety beyond the juvenile justice system.
